Every woman is different — even women of the same age can have very different ovarian reserves. Treat this result as a starting point for further testing, not as a final verdict.
What this means for you
Results are always individual. Neither ovarian reserve nor egg quality is a fixed number — both depend on many factors this calculator doesn't take into account. For a more accurate picture, we recommend seeing a gynecologist or a fertility clinic, where an AMH test and an ultrasound scan can be carried out.

Estimate My AMH
  • List item #1 icon

The number of eggs naturally declines with age.

Egg quality declines with age too.

You may feel great and look younger than your age, but your eggs still age with you. Anti-ageing simply doesn’t work on eggs.

AMH

One Number, So Much Information

 image

AMH (anti-Müllerian hormone) is produced by the ovaries, and its level helps estimate your ovarian reserve – the approximate number of eggs you have remaining. It is one of the key indicators of female reproductive potential and can help doctors recommend the most appropriate next steps.

AMH levels are strongly influenced by age and naturally decline over time. However, every woman’s ovarian reserve declines at a different rate. This is why it may be useful to repeat the test after 6–12 months. Comparing the results can show whether your ovarian reserve is declining slowly or more rapidly and provide valuable information when planning for pregnancy.

AMH is measured with a simple blood test that can be performed on any day of your menstrual cycle.

Ovarian Reserve Is Not the Same as Fertility

Ovarian Reserve Is Not the Same as Fertility

Ovarian reserve primarily indicates how many eggs you have remaining.
However, it does not tell you about:

  • egg quality
  • whether your fallopian tubes are open
  • your partner’s fertility
  • hormonal balance
  • genetic, immunological or other health factors that may affect fertility

This means that your actual fertility situation may be better or worse than the calculator alone suggests.

For a more accurate assessment, we recommend a blood AMH test and consultation with a doctor.

What Are Your Other Options?

I Just Want to Know My AMH Level

An AMH test provides important information about your ovarian reserve. We always recommend discussing your results with a doctor, who can interpret them in the context of your age, health and future plans. If you are not planning a pregnancy yet, your results may also help you decide whether to consider egg freezing (social freezing).

What Is Social Freezing?

We’re Trying for a Baby

If you have been having regular unprotected sex for more than 12 months without becoming pregnant – or for more than 6 months if you are over 35 – we recommend consulting a fertility specialist. This does not necessarily mean you will need IVF or other intensive fertility treatment. Sometimes identifying the cause, adjusting timing or lifestyle, or recommending a simpler treatment may be enough to significantly improve your chances of becoming pregnant.

Social freezing

Not planning a baby right now, but know you would like to have children in the future? Social freezing allows you to freeze your eggs at their current age and quality, giving you more options for the future. The ideal time to freeze your eggs is before the age of 35, as both egg quantity and quality decline significantly with age.

FAQs

  • How Accurate Is the Ovarian Reserve Calculator?

The calculator provides an estimate of your ovarian reserve based on your age and population data. Your individual ovarian reserve can be assessed more accurately through a blood AMH test and consultation with a doctor.

  • What Is AMH and Why Is It Important?

AMH (anti-Müllerian hormone) is a hormone produced by the ovaries. Its level helps estimate your ovarian reserve – the approximate number of eggs you have remaining. It is one of the key indicators of female reproductive potential.

  • Does a Low AMH Level Mean I Can’t Get Pregnant?

No. A low AMH level does not mean that pregnancy is impossible. It primarily indicates a lower ovarian reserve. Your chances of becoming pregnant are also influenced by your age, egg quality, the reproductive health of both partners and many other factors. This is why we always recommend discussing your results with a doctor.

  • When Should I Have an AMH Test?

AMH testing may be useful if you are planning a pregnancy, considering postponing motherhood, simply want to know more about your fertility, or have been trying to conceive without success. The blood test can be performed on any day of your menstrual cycle.

  • How Often Should I Repeat an AMH Test?

If you are not planning a pregnancy yet, it may be useful to repeat the test after 6–12 months. Comparing the results can show how your ovarian reserve is changing over time and help you make more informed decisions about your future fertility plans.
